Help expand Omar’s (bubble)

Hi, My name is Sally & I’m fundraising for the addition of a bedroom for my nephew, Omar. Since the day Omar was born he has been a warrior. He has had multiple surgeries including several stomach surgeries, gtube placement, & open heart surgery. Omar has been diagnosed with Down syndrome, cardiac disease, epilepsy, hirschsprung disease, hemiballismus, & chronic lung disease.

His most recent diagnosis (chronic lung disease) requires the use of additional medical equipment. Equipment that takes up almost the entire living room at home! Growing up in a small 3 bedroom house with 3 siblings does not leave much room for all his medical supplies & equipment. He needs his own spacious bedroom where we can fit a hospital bed for him, oxygen machine, pulse ox machine, suction machine, cpt vest machine, cough assist machine, stander, wheelchair, & feeding pole/feeding machine. Due to his new diagnosis, Drs informed mom that each illness going forward will be more severe. With Covid right now we need to keep him home as much as possible in his own “bubble”. Any help would be greatly appreciated and beneficial for Omar.
