The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”

Assalamualaikum, my name is Juhel, and I am reaching out to you today with a humble request. I am fundraising for my local mosque, Madinah Masjid on Oak Road, Luton.

This masjid, the second oldest in the town, has been at the heart of our community for many years, and it continues to play a vital role in supporting and uplifting those around it.

Madinah Masjid is not just a place of worship; it is a center for learning, charity, and community outreach. They offer Quran lessons for children, creating an environment of learning for the younger generation. The masjid is also inclusive for sisters, ensuring that everyone has a space to worship, learn, and grow together.

Additionally, the masjid is committed to spreading knowledge and understanding through Dawah materials and opening its doors to non-Muslims, fostering an atmosphere of dialogue and mutual respect.

Over the years, they have been involved in various charity initiatives, from collaborating with hospitals to raise awareness and funds, to supporting organisations like Keech and Macmillan Cancer, helping those affected by illness and hardship.

Their next goal is to expand the capacity of the masjid to serve the growing community. One of their key projects is to build a washing facility for body washing, providing a respectful space for families during their time of loss.
