On February 27, 2026, my life changed forever when I was caught in a fire. I was airlifted to Vanderbilt hospital in Nashville, TN, where I spent the first three weeks in a coma. The doctors did not expect me to survive, but I fought through six skin graft surgeries and remained hospitalized until April 23, 2026.
After my discharge, I moved to Florida to be cared for by my 80-year-old sister. Adjusting to life after such a traumatic event has been incredibly challenging. I am facing ongoing medical treatment, physical therapy, and therapy for PTSD. Without medical insurance and unable to work, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Every day brings new challenges, from managing pain and mobility to coping with emotional trauma and uncertainty about the future.
Funds raised will help cover my medical bills, therapy, and daily living expenses as I work toward recovery. Any and all support, financial or otherwise, will be greatly appreciated. Your kindness means the world to me as I navigate this difficult journey. Thank you for considering helping me during this time of need.
