Help Excursion Club Support the California Fire Foundation
Tax deductible
On January 7th, a series of devastating wildfires broke out in Los Angeles County, including the Palisades Fire, Eaton Fire, Hurst Fire, and Woodley Fire. Fueled by extreme high winds, these fires have caused unprecedented destruction, displacing families and causing significant structural damage across the region.
To support those affected, we’re raising funds for the California Fire Foundation , a nonprofit that works directly with fire agencies and community-based organizations to provide immediate financial relief to impacted residents. Their efforts ensure that those most in need receive help as they begin to rebuild their lives.
As staff members of the Excursion Club at UCSB, a student-run, volunteer organization committed to connecting people with the outdoors, we are driven by our mission to make outdoor activities accessible to everyone. Through affordable gear, resources, and community support, we empower individuals to step out of their comfort zones and explore nature. The outdoors have been a source of joy and inspiration for us, and now we’re taking action to give back to protect these spaces and the people who call them home.
Every dollar you donate will go directly to the California Fire Foundation’s relief efforts. Your support will help provide critical resources and aid to those who have lost so much. Together, we can make a meaningful difference for families and communities in need.
Thank you for your generosity and support!
