Help Ewa become the maddest hatter of them all

Hi!

I'm Ewa. I'm fundraising for the first term of a 2 year training to become a hatmaker.

Last year I had a close encounter with Death and if nothing else it taught med that life is short and you ought to spend it doing things you enjoy surrounded by people you love and pets you adore.

It also left me not quite as mobile as I used to be.

This is why, when this ad came up in my Facebook feed, I clicked on the link instead of just scroll by.

The link said they had places left on the Milliner-course and were open for late appliances. So I took a chance. I applied. Sent in some photos to show them I know how to handle a needle and thread, and thought to myself: Well, I tried.

3 weeks later I got the email saying they'd be happy to have me. Little old (58) me.

So I asked and hoped for that the unemployment office would say that it was ok to study and keep my benefits. They didn't.

You guys are my last hope for pursuing a stupid but very real dream.

I want to make the best hats. The maddest hats. The prettiest hats and the coolest hats.

The money will go to materials, public transportations, food and other necessities and I won't overspend. I promise.
