Chapeltown Under 13s Gold Team - Barcelona Tour Fundraiser ⚽
We are Chapeltown Under 13s Gold, and we're incredibly proud of our team, our club and everything we stand for. We're currently raising money to take part in an exciting football tour in Barcelona.
As a team, we pride ourselves on being brave, humble and competitive, and we're so excited to have the opportunity to represent Chapeltown Juniors FC on an international stage.
We're lucky to have a talented group of players, and taking on big challenges is nothing new to us. Over the past year, we've pushed ourselves by competing a year above our age group, developing our strength, resilience and focus with every match. Now we're ready for our next adventure – representing our club in Barcelona.
A bit about our fundraising...
- We're planning a HUGE event on 22nd August - a NON-STOP 12-hour football match! This will be the longest football match ever played at our home ground, Prince Philip Centre... and possibly in Leeds! It will take lots of coordination and cooperation from our players, coaches and parents and you are all welcome to come and watch! Alongside this brilliant event we are holding our Big Community Funday - both taking place from 8am - 8pm - watch this space for further details!
- Once we've (hopefully!) ticked that achievement off, the adults will be dusting off their hiking boots to tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks in early autumn - that's 26 tough miles!
- Our Under 13s won't be taking it easy either. They'll be taking on their own challenge to cover the distance from Leeds to Barcelona - an incredible 1,120 miles through walks, runs, bike rides and plenty of football-inspired miles along the way!

A bit about our team and club...
We are part of Chapeltown Juniors FC, which provides football for young people aged 4-18. Our club is part of CFYDC (Chapeltown Youth Development Centre), a charity that creates opportunities for children, young people and adults regardless of background, race, religion, ethnicity or gender. The centre is open to everyone, with or without a disability, and supports families from across Leeds, particularly those in the inner-city, North and North-East Leeds communities.
One of our biggest priorities is making sure every player has the opportunity to be part of this tour. We never want finances to be the reason a child misses out on an experience like this. The money we raise helps reduce the cost for all families and provides additional support where it's needed, so every member of the squad has the chance to travel, make lifelong memories and represent our club together.
A bit about our trip...
The funds raised will help pay for our football tour to Spain, including four nights' accommodation, meals and an action-packed itinerary featuring football training, tournament matches, stadium tours and exciting excursions. It promises to be an unforgettable experience both on and off the pitch.
Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to making this trip possible for the whole team.
