Help Everton the Elderly Cat Get the Care He Deserves

This is Everton — named after the sweet, not the football team, because of his lovely toffee-coloured stripes.

Just days ago, Everton was brought into the PDSA by a kind member of the public who found him barely conscious, emaciated, and critically dehydrated. He was so frail, the initial plan was to put him to sleep.

But one of the incredible nurses there saw something in him — a will to live. She reached out to us at Coppers Cat Rescue, and within the hour, we had agreed to give him a second chance.

He spent 24 hours on a drip, giving his little body the hydration it desperately needed. And miraculously… he started to come back to us.

Now in our care, Everton is showing us the gentle, loving soul he’s always been. He purrs when he’s touched, and makes the cutest little happy noises when he eats his wet food. He's already gained 300g!

We don’t know why he was abandoned — but we do know this: he deserves a life full of warmth, safety, and love.

What Everton Needs:

To give Everton every chance, we need your help to cover his upcoming veterinary care:

• Hydration Therapy (day-drip care to support his organs) — over the next 2 months

• Dental Work (he's in pain and needs treatment soon)

• Ongoing blood tests, monitoring, and nutritional support

Thanks to our wonderful vet team at All Creatures, we believe we can cover most of this care for around £600.
