Meet Everly!

Everly is 4 years old and was recently diagnosed with with a stage 4 wilms tumor that has spread to her lungs. On 06/21/2023 Everly had a chest port placed and received her first round of chemotherapy and will soon be starting radiation. After the initial 6 weeks of chemo she will have additional scans to see if the largest tumor has shrunk enough to be removed, which will likely include removing one of her kidneys. If after 6 weeks, the tumor remains too large to be removed Everly will undergo another 6 weeks of chemotherapy.

Although we have a long road ahead of us, her team of doctors and surgeons do believe she will get through this and are confident in the treatment plan that is in place.
