Help Everett Thrive Through Intensive Therapy & beyond

Donation protected
On July 18, 2023, just 3 weeks after Everett was born, Jen and Rob's world was turned upside down. What began as a visit to the pediatrician quickly turned into an ER visit by ambulance for suspected seizures. After many tests, lumbar punctures, and EEGs were done, doctors diagnosed him with Meningitis Encephalitis. He was admitted to PICU for a minimum of 21 days where a series of unfortunate events happened leading him to ultimately be intubated twice and left with permanent brain damage. Doctors gave them a discouraging outlook as to what their future would look like, but they refused to accept their opinion or to give up.

The heartbreak and devastation that Jen and Rob have experienced is something that no one should ever have to endure. Their prayers and hopes are high for Everett.

They began Physical and Occupational therapy as soon as they were discharged to try and get ahead of the game.
Fast forward to a year later and Everett still attends 30 minute-1 hour sessions 3 times a week. Despite his future still being a rocky road with ups and downs- Everett wakes up daily with a smile on his face ready to conquer whatever the day may bring.

This has been life-changing for Jen, Robert, and their other 3 kiddos.

Many people have reached out asking how they can assist and help support them. Although they are still trying to comprehend the impact this is going to have long term, we wanted to give people a resource to help and contribute to the journey Everett is on.

Your contributions, no matter the amount, will make a world of difference for Everett and his family. Every donation will go towards medical expenses including PT & OT rehabilitation programs, equipment, and the ability for Jen to continue staying home with Ev and ensuring he gets the therapy he needs.
The next page of their journey they are about to embark on is Intensive Therapy. This is physical, occupational and speech therapy that Everett will attend daily for 4-6 hours daily for 3-4 weeks straight. They are ready to hit the gym hard and are hopeful for an amazing outcome.

Above all, they are asking for us all to continue to flood the skies with your prayers as they continue their journey through these uncharted waters!
