My name is Everardo, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing eviction in less than two weeks. After my partner of 11 years left, I found myself suddenly alone and out of work. I’ve been applying to jobs every day and recently had an interview, but my rent is due on May 1st and I only have five dollars left in my bank account. I’ve reached out to local resources, but unfortunately, none have been able to help. I don’t have contact with my family due to personal reasons, and my friends aren’t in a position to support me right now. This is my last resort, and I’m doing everything I can to keep a roof over my head.
