Help Ever Get to Her "Happiest Place on Earth"

My name is Jen Garrett and I know an amazing woman named Natalia Haworth. Natalia sang in the Bakersfield College Chamber Singers which I conduct. She not only sang with all her heart, she encouraged and loved everyone she came in contact with. She went out of her way to help anyone in need and showed people how much she loved them in word and deed. My life has been richly blessed by Natalia.

Natalia and her husband Kyle have three beautiful children Roman (11), Ever (7), and they are the light of their lives. On July 21, 2023 Natalia and Kyle received the news that no parents should ever have to hear. They were told that Ever has cancer.

Ever has an Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma, which has progressed to leptomeningeal disease, a terminal diagnosis. Most people treated for this live between 3-6 months. She has been receiving chemo therapy since July along with completing an 8 week series of Proton Radiation of her full brain and spinal cord. She will continue chemotherapy treatments, in hopes that the disease doesn’t overcome her body, or until the oncologists feel that it isn’t helping anymore.

Ever’s one wish is to go to Disneyland/California Adventure with her family. She especially wants to go to Pixar Fest to meet Joy and Sadness from "Inside Out"! The Make-A-Wish Foundation tried to accommodate her, but they cannot grant her wish until late 2025. Due to her diagnosis, Ever's wish needs to happen a little sooner than that.

The Bakersfield College Choirs are working hard to grant Ever's wish but we need your help! Any donations towards this special cause are greatly appreciated. Anyone who knows Ever recognizes that she is a bright light in every path she crosses. Together we can grant Ever's wish and help her and her family make memories that will keep their light shining for years and years to come.
