My name is Justin Orozco and I am trying to raise funds for my mother, Evelyn Stewart, during her difficult time.

In the early hours of July 3rd, my mother woke up to her house on fire and was lucky enough to have help to escape out her window before being engulfed in the flames. My mother had just had spinal surgery last month and after having limited mobility and having to have round-the-clock care for almost a month while also dealing with the emotional baggage of the recent passing of her 15-year-old canine companion, Bowser, a few weeks prior, her house had an electrical fire and destroyed 90 percent of the things in her house while taking the life of her feline companion, Gato. My mom was fortunate enough to walk away with no injuries.

My mom has lived alone for several years and is a very independent, strong woman. She never asks for anything and always helps everyone around her. My mother is on a fixed income every month and does not have the funds. My brothers and I will continue to help her in every way that we can, but if anyone could help or even just share this story, it would mean a lot to my family and to a woman that has lost almost everything and needs a jumpstart to a new life.
