Hi! I’m Evelyn also known as Havok in roller derby, I’m currently a freshmen in college with little to no job options living off my summer paychecks while paying for my own sport fees, gas, college supplies, etc. I’m currently skating with a pair of 2 year old skates I was supposed to be using temporarily as they are “starter skates”, they are starting to give out on my and heavily affect how I play as a jammer.My current skates have busted pieces like laces, padding , and the Velcro straps, and are not generally correct skates for a jammer ; I currently have plates that are meant to carry someone who is of way more weight than I am, not fit my feet to standards, and are just generally effecting how I jam, I got the wheels often recommended for my Jamming style and once I had those I immediately improved so which the proper skates in all I could improve and attack the career is hoping for with derby. Anything helps my toward my goal thank you!
