Hello, I am Evelyn, a 25 year old transgender woman from Michigan, USA.

My computer is terrible and I am making this with the encouragement of my friends to raise money for a new one.

Why is my computer bad?

-It is a model originally from 2019 or so that had Windows 11 forced onto it to be sold in 2022 for a budget price. Which I fell for because I was without a computer at the time and was pretty desperate for one....and too cheap to get a more expensive one at the time even though I could have.

-It has a fair amount of issues, its main drive is a HDD not a modern SSD, it has a nonfunctional keyboard so I got an external one, everything is miserable and slow with it. These are complaints well-known by my friends lmao

Things i can do with a new laptop that is less bad

-Actually make art. CSP? Stalls constantly, it's hard enough for me to draw a straight line without severe input lag and I've barely gotten anything done for months now.

-Actually make more art. I enjoy writing but even the most basic of word processors is struggling with this terrible computer.

-Actually play literally any game and hang out with my friends. I can't even have Discord and Firefox running as separate programs (i even disabled all that AI crap in firefox and in windows to make it run faster, I've tried every optimization trick I can think of at this point. Doesn't help)

By my own admission there are far more worthwhile causes but I was told to make this so here it is.
