Hi, I am Brian, the eldest son of Evelyn Barranta. On Thursday my Mother was rushed by my brothers to Mt. Carmel hospital in Lucena City Philippines for a possible stroke.
After multiple tests it was confirmed that she did suffer from a stroke and also has pneumonia.
She is currently in a coma at the ICU with a blockage on her brain stem. The funds that we are trying to raise is to help with the extensive medical bills that are piling up and also for medication that she would need to help with the blockage.
Surgery right now is not an option so the course of action is to continue with the medication. We pray that she wakes up. We have a long road ahead but we are ready to fight with her.

My mother is the most selfless, loving, caring woman of God. The best grandmother, sister, and friend. Seeing her this sick is the worst feeling in the world. To those that know and love her can attest to what a great woman she is.
