Help Evelia and Family Rebuild After Flood

Hello! On July 2, 2023, this hard-working single mother, Evelia and her two sons, lost everything they owned in a flash flood in Cicero, Illinois. As their basement home filled up with water, all they could do was get themselves to safety and wait for the water to drain. When they re-entered their home, they were saddened to see that they had lost EVERYTHING to the flood which contained contaminated sewage water! While priceless items such as photos can’t be replaced so easily, many of the material items can. They lost their clothing, shoes, bedding and beds, furniture, refrigerator, and so much more. We are extremely grateful that Evelia and her sons are safe and are hoping to be able to help them re-build their lives! ¡Hola! El 2 de Julio de 2023, esta madre soltera trabajadora, Evelia y sus dos hijos, perdieron todo lo que poseían en una inundación repentina en Cicero, Illinois. Mientras su casa en el sótano se llenaba de agua, todo lo que podían hacer era ponerse a salvo y esperar a que el agua se drenara. Cuando volvieron a entrar en su casa, se entristecieron al ver que habían perdido TODO en la inundación que contenía aguas residuales contaminadas. Si bien los artículos de valor incalculable, como las fotos, no se pueden reemplazar tan fácilmente, muchos de los artículos materiales sí pueden. Perdieron su ropa, zapatos, ropa de cama y camas, muebles, refrigerador y mucho más. ¡Estamos extremadamente agradecidos de que Evelia y sus hijos estén a salvo y esperamos poder ayudarlos a reconstruir sus vidas!
