This is Evee. A gentle, skittish, and incredibly sweet 3-year-old cat who has already been through so much in her short life.

Evee was rescued off the streets by a shelter while pregnant, with no known history of a previous home. Not long after, my beloved grandmother adopted her, giving Evee the first real taste of love and safety she may have ever known. Tragically, just a few months later, my grandma passed away.

After her passing, Evee was passed around between family members but wasn’t receiving the care and attention she needed. I couldn’t bear to see her neglected, so at the start of this year, I brought her into my home. I already had a cat and knew what it takes to provide a stable, loving environment.

Evee is still timid, but her sweetness shines through more and more every day. I know my grandma would be so happy to see her safe, but now Evee needs your help.

At her last vet visit, we learned she likely needs multiple teeth removed. Unfortunately, she was too scared for a full exam, so we’re still unsure of the full extent of her medical needs. These procedures are costly, but necessary to ensure she can live pain-free and finally enjoy the safe, happy life she deserves.
