We are Eve & Mischa (along with Mischa’s 82yo father, John) and we live in a cabin in the hills of Altadena and had recently invested all our financial resources into much-needed renovations. The devastating Eaton fire changed our lives overnight.

We evacuated with our 5 cats and a few basic necessities. We have been displaced and trying to get back to our lives at the cabin.

We kept 2 horses, Joseph & Rio, down the street at the neighborhood barn which was burned down. They were evacuated just in time and need supplies & feed in their temporary home.

While our cabin still stands and has been spared by the fire, we are worried about the aftermath. A mudslide is waiting to happen next to our cabin with boulders above us. We must build a retaining wall to save our cabin and need help with the funds.

Two of our cars, the carport, along with many tools burned next to the cabin so we will need help clearing it out and replacing the tools and necessities to help us rebuild.

There is no power or potable water at the cabin and it’s our only residence.

Your donations will help with the next steps. The cleanup process will be slow and tedious. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference. Your generosity will help Mischa, Eve, John, 5 cats, & 2 horses regain stability and move forward during this incredibly challenging time.

$500 will help us with the costs of transitional housing

$250 will make sure we have food for a week, including our cats
