Help Eve Lefkovits beat cancer!

Hi everyone, I'm Lilly and my best friend of 10 years was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Nodular Sclerosis with bulk. Her name is Eve Lefkovits, and she is only 18 years old. She was supposed to attend college this fall at Pace university, but her plans came to a halt after neck pains resulted in a cancer diagnosis.

After seeing multiple doctors who were unable to provide Eve with a diagnosis it was recommended to her to do a more invasive biopsy of the swollen lymph nodes in her neck. With that referral Eve’s parents elected to take her to an oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital on August 31st, 2022. After spending hours running bloodwork, an MRI, CT scan, PET scan, and a chest x-ray Eve’s oncologist told her they had to admit her immediately. The test results showed several enlarged lymph nodes around Eve’s airway and her vascular vena cava vein. On September 2nd, 2022 Eve underwent surgery to remove and biopsy one of the lymph nodes in her neck as well as a spinal tap and bone marrow biopsy. They also had to put a central line in her femoral artery because it is not safe at this time to put in a port. On September 7th, 2022 Eve started her first round of chemo.

A little bit about Eve: she is the most sweet, caring, special person I know and always puts the people she cares about before herself. She is so smart and passionate, she plans to major in Biology. She loves her family more than anything and frequently watches her brother who just turned 6 years old. Eve's life is just beginning, and she needs all the help she can get to beat cancer and go back to her bright future ahead.

I am seeking to raise money for Eve and her family to assist with various facets of life in the coming months, including Chemotherapy treatment costs, all medical costs associated with this diagnosis, a wig, transportation, and any other needed expenses.
