Help Eve Get Weight Loss Surgery

Oh this is scary. I have been researching and asking questions for years about weightloss surgery. I know I need to do it. My BMI is 54. But every time I think I'm ready, something comes up. Maybe a child goes to the hospital, or a child gets diabetes and we have to pay for all of that. Or we lose a job. Or a pandemic comes along. There's always something that keeps me from getting weightloss surgery. I pride myself on loving and accepting my body just the way I am, but I'm also so tired and I'm tired of being tired. I know that weight loss surgery will add years to my life. I've tried dieting. It's scary though because every time I lose weight, I always gain it back and more. Currently I'm 330 pounds. I believe health isn't about being skinny, it's about being healthy enough to live joyfully.

I have asked a lot of people what worked for them over the years. I've decided to visit Dr. Hernandez in Tijuana and get the Sleeve. It seems like the least complicated surgery. Because of my higher BMI, it will be more expensive, but not as expensive as in Utah. Insurance won't cover it. This medical clinic offers insurance in case there are complications. They also offer post care for 2 years after the surgery. I'm trying to find quality, at an affordable cost. But, I don't think I can afford to wait any longer to get the surgery. The Sleeve is the latest advancement and I'm excited to see how it will improve my health. Most people lose the weight within 2 years. I'm good with that. Slow and steady.

I know these are silly things. It's odd asking for money without compensation. I have thought about how we could wait it out and save the money, but something always seems to come up and I have waited a really long time to get this. I think my first weight loss surgery consultation was about 8 years ago.
