With broken hearts, we are reaching out for support after the tragic and devastating loss of a beautiful woman, Eva. my best friend.

Eva met her husband in Bali and fell in love. That love is what brought her to Melbourne, not for opportunity or financial gain, but to build a life with someone she trusted and cared for deeply.

She came to Australia for love, and deserved a life filled with safety, happiness, and peace.

She was a devoted mother to her two young daughters, Evindra and Vanya, who remain in Indonesia. Even while living in Australia, her daughters were always at the centre of her world.

Over time, Eva found herself in a deeply difficult and unhealthy relationship. After showing incredible strength to leave, she was rebuilding her life from nothing and planning a trip home to Bali to spend time with her daughters, something she was so looking forward to.

Tragically, she never got that chance.

Eva’s life was taken, leaving Evindra and Vanya to face the unimaginable, losing their mum so suddenly, from afar, with very limited support and resources.

With no other family to turn to, they are navigating this heartbreaking loss completely on their own.

This tragedy is not just Eva’s story.

She is now one of far too many women lost to violence.

In Australia alone, Eva is believed to be the 18th woman killed in 2026 as a result of violence by a partner or former partner. Behind every number is a life, a family, and children left behind, just like Evindra and Vanya.

We are raising funds to help bring her daughters to Australia so they can:

Be part of laying her to rest

Help make decisions about her final wishes

Funds will also go towards:

Travel expenses for Evindra and Vanya her daughters to come to Australia to bring her mother Back to Bali,

Supporting the process of returning Eva home to Indonesia, if that is their wish

Providing basic support for her daughters during this incredibly difficult time.

We wil be transferring the funds form my account to Evindras as soon as possible as they need money for flights to come to Australia
