I am Evangelist, and I am reaching out for help as I recover from having part of my left foot amputated. This has been a life-changing experience, and it has slowed my mobility down considerably. I now rely on a cane to help stabilize my walking, and I am unable to walk much until my wound is healed enough to be sewn shut. Because of this, I can’t walk to church as I used to, and I have to spend more money hiring a taxi to get there.

The ongoing medical bills are overwhelming. Each month, I need $100 to cover medicine, bandages, and doctor house calls for wound cleaning and care. On top of that, I need support for monthly transportation costs and utilities—water, trash, electricity, and phone service—which total $170. These expenses add up quickly, and it’s been difficult to keep up while focusing on healing and regaining my independence.
