Hello, my name is Evangeline Anga. I am a freshman at Calvin University, double majoring in Business Analytics and Data Science. At Calvin, I’ve found more than an education—I’ve found a community, a family, and a support system that inspires me to strive for excellence and fulfill my potential.
Pursuing higher education has always been my dream, but the journey hasn’t been easy. I come from a family of eight, including five brothers, and while my parents have always prioritized our education, unforeseen challenges have made it difficult to fund my tuition. My father’s primary source of income has been significantly impacted, and the financial strain has left my family struggling to support the cost of education for all of us.
However, despite my family's deep commitment to my success, their financial challenges have been left with a funding gap of $7,500 for my first semester. This threatens my ability to stay enrolled and risk the scholarship that has made this possible. I have a passion for data and numbers drives me forward. I aspire to become a Data Scientist and make meaningful contributions to the field. I’ve worked tirelessly to secure scholarships that cover 70% of my tuition, but I still need help bridging the remaining 30%. My deadline to meet this financial need is January 16th, 2024.
That’s why I’m reaching out to you today. Your support, no matter the amount, can make a life-changing difference. Every dollar raised will go directly toward covering my tuition and ensuring I can stay at Calvin University to continue my education and pursue my dream.
Your generosity would not only help me but also honor the sacrifices my family has made to get me this far. Together, we can overcome this hurdle and turn a challenging situation into an inspiring story of hope and perseverance.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness and support mean the world to me and my family. Please Share my campaign with friends, family, or anyone who believes in the power of education.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Evangeline Anga
