As many of you know, on Thursday, Oct 25th, while walking near Bedford St in Manchester, NH, our dear friend Evan Benoit was struck and pinned to a tree by a car that had jumped the sidewalk.
Miraculously, Evan survived the incident and is currently recovering from a fractured pelvis and other injuries at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Concord after a stay at CMC.
Originally, it seemed that the young man who hit Evan had insurance at the time of the accident. However, it now appears that he did not, which leaves Evan in a very tough position when it comes to the large amount of medical bills and expenses resulting from this accident that continue to accumulate now and into the future.
Evan is a kind and humble person who wouldn't ask for help in a situation like this. However, he needs help, and as his friends, we can help to ease this financial burden so he can focus on his recovery.
Please, if you are able, even a few dollars would be much appreciated. Let's show Evan how much we value and appreciate him as our friend and as a light in our community.
