Help Evan Weiss Hear
Donation protected
I am writing this on behalf of my dad, Evan. He just turned 60 in September and we took him to the audiologist who determined he had severe hearing loss in both ears. At the young age of 52 he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, we try to get the most out of everything in life we can before the disease takes him away from us. With that being said, his hearing being almost gone impacts all of our family and friends. He deserves to be able to enjoy his grandson, children, and friends before the Alzheimer’s takes him from us.
In November 2020, I, his 32 year old daughter, had a severe stroke that almost took my life. He tries his best to help me and check on me but between my speaking aphasia and his severe hearing loss we struggle immensely to have a conversation.
Between his very fixed disability income and trying to help me and my son, we are just trying to raise enough to cover the cost of the hearing aids. We just want to get to really enjoy our time with him before he’s too far gone. Thank you for helping in any way possible, we really appreciate you. God Bless.
