Help Evan Build a Better Future for His Son
If you know Evan, then you know this: he’s the kindest, most generous, and reliable friend anyone could ask for. He’s the first to show up when you need a hand—no matter how big or small the ask—and he does it with heart, skill, and no expectation of anything in return.
I’ve leaned on Evan in some of my toughest moments, and I know I’m not alone. So many of you have a story about a time he was there for you. Now, Evan needs us.
Why He Needs Our Help
Evan is making a bold move to create a better life for his son. After years of grinding through plumbing work, especially during the challenges of divorce and the pandemic, he’s hit a wall. He’s been injured, passed over for jobs because of his parenting schedule, and his immense creativity and problem-solving skills have been underused for far too long.
Now, he’s been accepted into a respected 15-week full-stack coding program. It’s an intense, life-changing opportunity—and the first real step toward building a sustainable, fulfilling career that will give him the flexibility and stability he needs as a single dad.
The Risk
The hardest part? He won’t be able to work during the program. That’s three months without a steady income, while still needing to keep the lights on, gas in the car to take his son to school, and food on the table (and in the dog bowl).
Evan’s doing everything he can to make ends meet. He's taking odd jobs when possible, offering plumbing and other services, and selling his original art and t-shirts. But he needs a little help from the community he’s poured so much of himself into over the years.
How You Can Help
If Evan has ever helped you, made you laugh, showed up when you needed someone, or inspired you—please consider giving back now.
- Donate what you can. Every dollar goes directly to keeping Evan and his son afloat during this transition.
- Hire Evan for small jobs or commissions if you’re local.
- Purchase his artwork or a t-shirt to support his creative work. (designs coming soon!)
- Share this with others who know and love him. Forward his plumbing website and phone number to people in your community, tell your family and friends to call him if they need any plumbing work done.
Other things you can do to help out instead of direct financial support:
- Help out with groceries
- Drop off some food
- Order a pizza for Evan and Ronin

A Note from Evan
“The past few years have been incredibly challenging. Balancing single parenthood with intense physical labor has pushed me to my limits. I’ve been barely making ends meet for a long time.
I’ve finally been accepted into a full-stack coding program—a huge, necessary shift for my future. I’m anxious, but determined. I won’t be able to work for the next 15 weeks, so I’m offering my labor, prints, and shirts in exchange for any support. Everything will go to bills, food, and survival.
Thank you for helping me make this leap.”

Let’s help Evan take this leap. He’s always shown up for us—now it’s our turn.
