Help Evan Smile Again
Donation protected
My brother, Evan, is in his late twenties. He's a great guy, works hard, is an extremely talented artist but he is facing a reality that he may loose his teeth before he's thirty. Evan needs surgery to replace most if not all of his teeth, which is a result of a car accident several years ago that caused the air bag hitting so hard it created hairline fractures in his jaw and teeth. He didn't have the insurance that could cover getting the medical attention needed at the time. He didn't know that the accident had caused so much damage until his teeth started chipping a couple of years ago. Then he really started to worry when his teeth started falling out. He has had consultations with a few doctors and the options are limited and extremely expensive. Basically Evan will have proceedures done over four or more months. The doctors will need to remove his remaining teeth, make molds, drill into his jaw to stablize the permenant replacements and while he is in the middle of all of this he will also need temporary teeth. My mom, bless her heart, a single mother of four, has always tried to help us in every way. She has tried taking out a loan and leveraging her car but it's still not enough. Evan is trying to keep his head up in the midst of the constant pain in his jaws he lives with on a daily basis and the reality that he is loosing his teeth and can't afford to do anything about it. He also doesn't know if his remaining teeth will last six months, a year, more or less. The sooner he can get this proceedure done the better for his health and well being. My family has limited resources but we are pulling as much together as possible but we need help! I can't sit and watch this happen, watch he and my mother as their hearts break over this. Please help us to raise this money. I haven't seen my brother smile, a REAL smile in so long, it would be the best gift my family could receive. Thank you for listening and for any donation you can give!
