Help Evan Renew His Vehicle Registration

Hello Friends!

This is a hard thing for me to put out there but in light of it being Christmas Eve, I’m hoping for a bit of a miracle.

This past year has been excruciatingly difficult to say the least.

High bills, Job loss, a car accident, and a great deal of hardship has lead me to accumulate a large amount of debt with predatory interest rates (some as much as 46%) simply to stay afloat.

I'm working 65-85 hours per week (see me working an extra job on a food truck pictured above) across 3 different jobs plus any side hustle I can find, pinching every penny, budgeting to the best of my ability and still coming out negative at the end of the month. Minimum payments and bills simply are keeping me stuck under the water and getting ahead is incredibly difficult, despite everything I’ve done. Bankruptcy and debt consolidation are not options due to the nature of the loans so all I can really do is keep plugging along (yes I’ve spoken to a financial advisor on this matter).

In all honesty, there are numerous ways people could help, but I’ve chosen to focus in on the expense that affects my day to day life the most.

My vehicle registration expired in April of 2024, late fees have been accruing over the past 8 months and I’ve been pulled over and ticketed for this nearly a dozen times. This causes me to be late for work and church commitments. Getting pulled over is only an excuse an employer will take so many times and frankly, it’s a bit humiliating and has lead to 2 write ups from jobs for causing me to be over 30 minutes late.

No matter how much overtime and extra shifts I pick up and no matter how hard I pinch, I can’t come up with the money to get new tags, all I can barely do is pay the $96 tickets every time they come in and it’s a never ending cycle that I can’t keep sustaining.

There are no assistance programs or negotiations available, I’ve spent hours on the phone attempting it and it’s lead me nowhere.

As someone who uplifts his community as much as he can and has a strong track record of generosity, I humbly admit that life has happened to me, I can’t do this alone and while it’s difficult, I just need a little boost from my trusted circle.

Even the smallest act of generosity would mean the world to me. Partial funding is better than nothing, every little bit counts. This would be the best Christmas present and truly an answer to prayer. I have a copy of the bill, pictures of my tags and copies of the tickets I’ve received available upon request
