Evan Marling is a 14-year-old boy from Clay County, WV who was involved in a wreck on 08/22/2026 that killed two of his friends and left him in critical condition. Evan's seat belt and the impact from the accident “cut Evan in half on the inside.” His abs were split open, which is the wall that holds everything in place, so when it split, his organs pushed forward. So the inside of his stomach is split open with trauma hernias (a very bad one on the left side), bad bowel and bad colon, and a very bad L3 fracture that they can’t even treat until they get his stomach fixed. (He was having surgery today.) He has been on the ventilator until today. He has to endure multiple surgeries, and his parents are trying not to leave his side, so travel expenses and food can become expensive when you're taking off from work. The driver of the car didn't have car insurance, so everything will fall on Bobby, his father. Please, if you can help this family, we would all appreciate it.
