Help Evan Get Their Smile Back

This fundraiser is for my partner Evan, who brings smiles and comfort to so many! As a trusted massage therapist in the LGBTQ+ community, Evan’s passion is to foster strong connections and help clients heal from pain. Now, I’m hoping folks can rally behind Evan as they begin a long and traumatic journey (both physically and emotionally) to heal their own body from a progressive disease.

Evan has been suffering from genetic periodontal disease for many years, and has had multiple tooth extractions. However, the condition continues to progress even with diligent care, and the infections have been eating away at their jawbone. Evan’s periodontal disease now demands that their teeth be replaced with a full set of dental implants. While this set of dental implants will hopefully allow Evan to smile with confidence, it is also a necessity so that their cardiac and immune systems can recover from these aggressive periodontal infections.

This fundraiser will cover a fraction of what is needed for the extraction and implants. However, it will provide a much needed sum to initiate this arduous journey.

EDIT 7/15/23: Thank you to everyone who has donated! We have found a trusted dental professional in Mexico, and it looks like we could be taking on this major surgery as early as mid-August. The procedure will be done in two parts: the first part, in mid-August, will be a complete extraction of all Evan's teeth with subsequent surgical implants to support temporary dental prosthetics. This 3-day visit will cost over $12,000. Your support helps so much!!! <3
