Help Evan Fix his Mouth
Donation protected
I have been in need of dental implants for years and have consistently put it off due to other health concerns and responsibilities. However, my quality of life has deteriorated over the last few months to the point where I can longer wait to pursue corrective surgery. While savings and credit will help me cover some of the costs over the next six months, I need a complete reconstruction of my mouth to be able to continue functioning on the most basic level. I am having difficulty sleeping, eating, talking, and working. My jaw bone is weak and the need for dental implants has become urgent. I need them to maintain bone density and make sure this fix for my mouth problems is not transitory as past attempts were. Unfortunately, the surgery is considered cosmetic despite the fact there are those like me who need it to survive. Upon consulting with multiple doctors, the procedures I need will cost me at least $58,000 not including the potential interest from any loans or credit cards I may need to use to finance them. I am not expecting (maybe hoping) any miracles from this attempt to raise funds, but I know that I need to pursue every avenue possible to insure my health for years to come. I cannot pursue this surgery until I have at least $20,000 more than is currently available to me, and I fear what will happen if I wait even a few weeks longer to begin this process. Any aid that can be provided, even just $5, will mean more to me than I can put into words. It will mean restoring my life, my sense of self, and helping me correct what is the most horrifying, embarrassing, and painful problem in my life. It was a difficult decision for me to implore for help on a public platform, but I know my life depends on it. Thank you to anyone who is willing to take the time to read this and feel my pain.
