My nephew Evan, just 3 months old, has been diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a malignant eye tumor affecting his left eye. This news has been a very hard blow for our entire family, but God has been our great refuge during this time.

The treatment requires approximately 6 months of chemotherapy, followed by at least 3 more months of medical check-ups. My brother and his family are currently in Argentina, where the entire process will take place at Hospital Austral, a specialized center located in the city of Pilar, northeast of Buenos Aires Province.

They need to relocate and stay there for the duration of the treatment. However, the rental costs are very high and beyond their financial means. They need a total of USD 12,000 to cover these expenses. Thanks to God, they have already raised USD 5,000, so USD 7,000 is still needed.

That’s why, as Evan’s aunt, I’m helping to launch this campaign to raise the funds necessary to cover 12 months of rent, while Evan receives the treatment he needs. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to giving Evan the chance at a healthy and full life.
