I am currently in my second year of school to become a clinical herbalist, with just one year left to go. My ultimate goal is to open my own practice and clinic, working with clients to guide them to higher levels of vitality, health, and healing using herbal medicine, nutrition, and health conscious lifestyle changes. This upcoming year is especially important, as it’s the apprenticeship year where I’ll gain hands-on experience with real clients in a student-run free clinic.
Unfortunately, all of my school funds have dried up since I lost my old job, and now I barely make enough to cover my monthly bills. I managed to save up the initial deposit to hold my place, but the monthly payments for tuition are more than I can afford with my current income. Because herbalism is not regulated and my school isn’t accredited like a standard university, there’s no way for me to get financial aid, so I’ve been paying everything out of pocket. I love helping others and teaching them what I know about traditional medicine. I’ve seen great results with a few clients already, and I truly believe in what I do. I want to continue on this path, but I need a little help to make it possible.
The funds I raise will help me pay for tuition and school expenses which will allow me to continue my education on track with my 5 year plan. Without this support, I won’t be able to attend and finish my apprenticeship. I have met so many wonderful people through the medicine and spiritual community, and many know how passionate I am about herbalism and nutrition. This is my calling. Herbalism was there for me when I struggled with severe depression and anxiety, and it gave me hope when doctors only offered prescription drugs. The help and funds I receive will create a lasting impact in my career and future as a herbalist, as well as in the lives of all my future clients. I believe people need more options for taking care of their health, and that’s why I feel so called to this path. Your support would make my dream a reality, and I would be beyond grateful for my community’s love and encouragement!
