We were overjoyed to have my brother Evan and sister-in-law Rose visit us in Maine for the holidays. On December 30, we watched in horror from afar as the Marshall Fire decimated their neighborhood in Superior, CO. Since they weren’t in town, they were unable to evacuate their cat or any of their belongings.
While we are so grateful they’re physically safe, as well as their pup Bailey, their home, car, and all their possessions have been destroyed. They’ve worked so hard to establish a life they loved and were proud of in Colorado.
As their big sister, I felt helpless and heartbroken. I’m hoping that this fundraiser can help towards their rebuilding. At this point, they’re still hoping their cat Clementine was able to get out of their home so please send hopeful thoughts their way.
Thank you, anything you can donate will help to ease the burden on them. And if you can’t donate, please share and send all good vibes and prayers their way.
