Help Evan and Natalie Through This Tough Time
Donation protected
Our nephew Evan, 24 years old, was involved in a dirt bike accident on Sunday, February 2, 2025. He is currently in the ER with a broken collarbone, fractured skull, and possible brain bleed, along with various spots of road rash and stitches under his right eye.
On February 3, 2025, his updated status is stable after being transferred to the Delray Trauma Center in Florida. He is experiencing a lot of pain, especially in his back. Additionally, he has hearing loss in one ear, bruised lungs, and multiple lacerations. One of these lacerations was repaired by surgery overnight, and his broken collarbone will likely require another surgery.
The doctors are still running scans to assess the extent of his injuries and rule out any other internal damage. Evan's head injuries are the biggest obstacles to recovery, and since his brain was swelling and bleeding overnight, he is being closely monitored.
He is scheduled to have surgery on his collarbone tomorrow, February 5th.
He will need to be in the ICU for possibly the rest of the week.
Please continue to pray for his recovery.
Evan is also a newlywed, so his wife, Natalie, is understandably distressed.
He will be out of work for at least 8 weeks, if not longer. God willing he heals quickly and can get back on his feet.
Unfortunately, though, he does not have health insurance. With him being out of work for the coming weeks and/or months, we are asking for some help with his medical bills and monthly expenses. His wife, Natalie, will need to care for him possibly for a while, which means she will also be without an income until she goes back to work.
Evan is an incredible young man. He is very loved by his parents, Tara Prescott and Argus Wiley/step-parents, Cliff Prescott and Stacey Wiley, his four younger sisters and step brothers, and his extended family. He's so full of life. He always seems to be smiling and happy, laughing. He is head over heels for his wife, Natalie. They enjoy going to the beach, snorkeling, fishing, and just being outside. God willing he will be able to get back to all of that in due time.
Any assistance we can give to these two will be greatly appreciated. No amount is too little, and every little bit helps.
Thank you!
