This GoFundMe is dedicated to the family of Mohanad Hammouda and Reham Rami Shamia. Just before the outbreak of the war, newlyweds Mohanad and Reham moved into their first home. Mohanad worked as a nurse in Al-Shifa Hospital up until it was bombed by the occupying forces, leaving him and his wife trapped in North Gaza. Since then, they have been disconnected from the rest of their families, and the home, just furnished to greet them, has been destroyed. Mohanad's family consists of:

Due to the genocide, Mohanad and Reham have no hope of returning to their old life and evacuating to Egypt costs upwards of $6,000. This fundraiser aims to evacuate the couple so they can start a new life and help others. If, by the will of God, it becomes successful we hope to raise more to evacuate the rest. We hope to increase the fundraiser goal once the 7k is reached. The family is now relying on biweekly private donations of $200 to buy the bare necessities, including flour and any grains they can find. Without donations, Mohanad would have to venture out to humanitarian aid which is dangerous and is being watched. There are constant martyrs at international aid points. ALL of the donations will be used for life-sustaining necessities. Please donate whatever you can to help the newlyweds have food and to evacuate safely to Egypt and start a war-free life.

انا اسمي مهند حمودة

ابلغ من العمر ٢٦ سنة

قضيت عمري في الحروب الشرسة والايام الصعبة ، ولكن مثل هذه الحرب لم تمر علينا ، بدات الحرب في ٧ اكتوبر الساعة السادسة صباحا، استيقظت على صوت الصواريخ والقصف واعلان الجيش الاسرائيلي حربه على غزة وكنت اشعر بالخوف الشديد والتوتر و الشعور بالضياع وعدم الاستقرار

كنت اعمل متطوع كممرض في مستشفى الشفاء في غزة الذي دمره الاحتلال بكل معنى الكلمة ، كنت اواجه كثيرا من التحديات للوصل الى المستشفى في ظل عدم توفر المواصلات او المصاريف اللازم لذالك

ولكن بعد عدة ايام من بدء الحرب لما استطع الاستمرار في التطوع بسبب القصف الاسرائيلي العشوائي وقصف منزلنا والنزوح من مكان سكني الي المدارس

انا الان نازح وبعيد عن عائلتي لا استطيع الوصول اليهم ولم اراهم منذ بدء الحرب المستمرة منذ ٧ شهور

وكنت لا اعرف عنهم شيئ

هل هم احياء ؟

هل هم بخير ؟

كان هناك الكثير من الاسالة والخوف تجاه عائلتي

ولكن لحتى الان لم اللتقي بهم بسبب الفصل بين الشمال والجنوب في قطاع غزة

في كل هذه الفترة كان هناك كل انواع المشاعر الحزينة والسيئة من تعرض للخوف والتوتر بسبب النزوح من مكان لمكان للعثور على مكان امن بسبب القصف المستمر الذي نجينا منه عدة مرات

وهذا كله في جهة والمجاعة التي كنت اعيشها انا وخطيبتي في جهة اخرى ، ٤ شهور لم نتذوق الخبز ولا اي نوع طعام مفيد

كان وزني ٧٥ كيلو انا الان ٦٠ كيلو

كنا نعيش على اعلاف الحيوانات وحشائش الارض لمدة طويلة جدا

وبعد توفر الطحين

كان سعره متضاعف جدا ولا املك المال لشرائه

وبعد توفر الطحين

انا الان لا اعمل وليس لدي مصدر دخل وبيتي تعرض للقصف واعيش في مدرسة

وانا خاطب منذ سنة و٨ شهور وكان موعد زفافي بعد بدء الحرب بشهر

، انا الان خاطب ولم اتزوج بسبب عدم توفر مكان للسكن والحرب المستمرة علينا منذ ٧ اكتوبر

كل هذه الاحداث خلقت مني شخص يشعر ياليأس والحزن وفقدان الامل والشغف للحياة

ولكن الامل بيد الله وبيد الاشخاص الداعمين لي وخطيبتيولكن بعد وقت طويل استطعت الاتصال بهم والاطمئنان عليهم
