Help injured paramedic and his family to evacuate from Gaza

Hello everyone, I am paramedic Abdul Qader Abu Samra

I worked all my life in my profession as a paramedic for the love of helping people and saving them

Especially since our country is always exposed to wars, and this profession requires a person with a strong personality and not afraid of death, because paramedics are the most vulnerable group, especially in times of war.

In the last war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, despite the strength and horror of the war, I insisted on continuing my work and helping the work crew rescue the wounded and pull them out from under the rubble.

But on October 31, I was no longer the one aiding people and rescuing them. I was directly targeted by Israeli occupation planes while rescuing the injured, and I became the wounded, the wounded, and the one in need of rescue.

I moved between hospitals in Gaza. Due to poor health conditions and lack of capabilities, the doctors decided to amputate my injured foot, but with the help of my brother, the doctor, who insisted on treating me without having to amputate the foot.

I was besieged in Al-Shifa Hospital for 10 days, and then we were evacuated to the European Hospital in Rafah.

Since October 31 until now, I have not completed my treatment journey and performed the nerve connection surgery to be able to walk again on my feet.

In this cruel war, the occupation not only bombed me and made me unable to walk, but it also destroyed our warm home, the family home that used to house me and my family.

We lost our car, our possessions, and our money

Now I.m at the hospital, and the rest of my family lives in a tent in Rafah

If you want to leave Gaza, you must pay $5,000 for each person. I, my mother, my brother, and two of my sisters need $25,000 to get out of Gaza. As for the rest of the amount, we need it to be able to get my treatment in Egypt and to live there.

This is my story. I have spent my whole life helping people and rescuing the injured. Now, I humbly ask you to help me , because of the catastrophic hospital situation, I urgently need to travel so as not to lose my chance to walk, and I cannot leave my family here as my mother is sick and cannot stay in Gaza alone with my sisters.
