Help Eva with her disease

Hi, my name is Audrey and I’m fundraising for my niece Eva, 7 years old. She’s such a kind, happy, and lovely kid and it hurts me from the bottom of my heart to see her go through this disease so young. Few months ago she’s been diagnosed with this rare disease called Blount’s disease. Here is her story

« My name is Eva, I am 7 years old. I love to ride horses (it's my passion), playing with my girlfriends at school, and I even have a secret lover like all little girls my age. But since school started, I've learned that I won't be able to have a normal life like other kids and I would have to stop riding my favorite pony, and run in the yard.

I went with my mommy to the podiatrist to make orthopedic insoles, and there my life changed. The doctor ordered an X-ray as a routine exam but they found out a very advanced stage of a rare and serious bone disease.

This disease necrosis my tibia, requiring a bone graft and my growth cartilage having been affected, I could no longer grow in my left leg. While waiting for the surgery, I have to rest my leg as often as possible, and I often use a wheelchair.

My daily life has changed, being limited to several visits to the hospital to prepare for surgeries, as I will have to undergo heavy surgeries and rehabilitation.

Unfortunately my legs will not be the same length, I will have to live for many years with this handicap, hoping that the doctors can put me in an external fixator to try to make my leg grow. I'm so scared but I'll try to be brave for me and my family.

To help me, I need to acquire adapted medical equipment which is very expensive (wheelchair, medical bed, customized medical shoes, medical bills, medicine...). I would love for my mom and dad to be able to sleep with me while I’m in the rehabilitation center.
