At just 2 years old, Eva was given a heartbreaking prognosis — Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD). Doctors said she would not live past the age of 6.

This year, Eva turned 7 years old, defying every odd and inspiring everyone around her. She’s our little miracle, especially after losing her two brothers at the same age to the same rare illness.

For the past five years, vital research funding has covered her medication and care. That program has now ended. While her medication will thankfully continue, our family is facing another crisis — we will lose our home in December 2025.
