Help Eva Attend Brevard Music Institute!

My name is Eva Cook, and I am a 20 year old violinist studying violin performance at Eastern Kentucky University with Dr. Sila Darville. I come from a family with two sets of twins(myself included), with my twin and I both attending university. I started lessons at 15 years old and quickly fell in love with my instrument and took every opportunity I could to further my musicianship. I made my Carnegie Hall debut at 17, performed the entire Debussy String Quartet at the 2024 ASTA National Conference, and just recently was selected as a winner of the Accord Symphony’s 9th Annual Concerto Competition.

This summer, I was accepted into the College Orchestral Institute at the Brevard Music Center, one of the most prestigious summer orchestral institutes in the nation. I will get the opportunity to collaborate with many well known conductors and musicians such as Mei-Ann Chen, Stella Chen, and Yuja Wang. I received a generous scholarship that covered half of my total costs, but with that being said, it is still very expensive. This will be a life changing opportunity for me both personally and professionally. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and mean the world to me!
