On Sunday, Sept 7th, 2025, Eva and one of her employees were the victims of a violent attack at their workplace at Eva Spa and Massage, leaving them with serious injuries and requiring immediate hospitalization. The trauma of this incident means that both individuals will need extensive medical care and recovery support in the coming weeks and months.

The neighbors of Eva and her business have come together to create this Eva Spa Recovery Fund to help cover the medical expenses and recovery costs for both Eva and her employee. Eva is a standout and hardworking business owner, and a member of the Edmonds community, having established her Spa business here in 2023.
