Help Eunice's Journey to the French Alps

Hello Everyone,

My name is Eunice Mejiadeu Esther, and I am a rising senior at Howard University. I have been awarded a chance to study abroad in the French Alps through Howard University. I am a first-generation immigrant and student juggling two jobs, hoping to become a Human Trafficking attorney. After ten years of involvement, I will be aging out of the U.S. Foster Care System this summer. I have seen firsthand the importance of people with lived experience in solving the inequalities plaguing the Child welfare community. While studying abroad, I will gain a French language certificate that will allow me to become a translator, which I will use to help survivors like myself. I have already postponed this opportunity due to circumstances beyond my control. So, this is my last chance to study abroad before I graduate in the spring.
