Hi,
My name is Eula Palmer Bird. I am a competitive cross country skier from Vernon, BC, and I am in my grade eleven year at W.L Seaton Secondary. I am very proud to represent Sovereign Lake Nordic Club as a racer in the high school academy program, and be a member of the BC Ski Team. I recently competed at the World Junior Trials in Canmore, Alberta, where I qualified to represent Canada as a U20 at the World Junior Championships in Lillehammer, Norway. In addition to representing Canada at the WJC, I have also been nominated to Cross Country BC’s B-Tour in Sweden where I will have the opportunity to compete at the National Cup Final in Lycksele alongside members of the BC Ski Team.
I am incredibly proud and grateful for this opportunity to represent my home club, community, and country on the world stage! However, as you can imagine, attending these events overseas comes with significant costs—including flights, accommodation, and race fees. Given these costs, I would like to reach out to ask for your support. Any donations would go a long way in helping me pursue this dream. I am so grateful to my coaches, teammates, friends, family, and community for their support in helping me achieve this goal!
Thank you so much for your continued support, I am so thankful and excited for this amazing opportunity!
