My name is Stella and I am fundraising on behalf of my dear friend Eugenia, whose life was changed forever by a devastating workplace accident.
In 2024, Eugenia, a chemical and process engineer from London, was taking part in mandatory training organised by Kedrion/BPL using a Toyota A5 Stacker Truck when the machine malfunctioned. She was crushed against a wall and her foot became trapped and run over by the trainer operating the truck.
The pain was unbearable. What followed was even more devastating.

What Happened After the Accident
After the incident, Eugenia was shocked to find that her account of events was dismissed. A narrative was set without her input, and she was told she had driven over her own foot, something she strongly denies.
Although cameras were present in the area, she has since been told the CCTV footage does not exist. Safety and machine reports have not been shared with her, and her attempts to speak to senior management were blocked by HR.
While another colleague injured at work received support for over a year, Eugenia was given only statutory sick pay.

Eugenia’s Life Now
Eugenia’s injuries have left her permanently disabled. She has been diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a severe and life-altering neurological condition.
Today, she lives in constant pain.
She cannot wear socks.
If she walks too much, she passes out & goes blind.
She is mostly bed-bound.
Her condition affects every part of her life, including her ability to work, move freely, and live independently.

How The Funds Will Be Used
This fundraiser has been created to help Eugenia survive and access urgent specialist care while there is still a chance to improve her quality of life.
The funds raised will help to:
• Pay for urgent CRPS treatment and pain therapy
• Support specialist care, including treatment at the Spero Clinic located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA, which requires patients to travel there for their intensive neurological rehabilitation treatment programs, as they offer a unique system not available elsewhere.
• Purchase a wheelchair so Eugenia can regain some independence and move around easier
• Cover essential living costs while she is unable to work
• Allow her to try treatments she cannot currently afford
Early intervention is critical with CRPS. Time truly matters.

Eugenia worked hard, stayed professional, and trusted the systems meant to protect her. Instead, she was seriously injured and then silenced.
This fundraiser is not just about money. It is about dignity, care, and making sure Eugenia is not made invisible.
