Our friends in Russia are going through a hard time in their life. The 33-year-old father of the family, Eugene Vynokoorov, has recently been diagnosed with colon cancer.

At the same time, his wife was expecting their 9th child. At 36 weeks of pregnancy, she got sick with covid. Due to breathing difficulties, she was hospitalized and had an emergency C-section. After being on high oxygen, she recovered and asked the doctors to release her early to take care of 8 other children at home and a sick husband. The newborn was in the NICU for a period of time due to breathing problems, but is now home and doing well.

Although Eugene was already in pain and feeling weak, he tried to work to support his family during this time. But the stress of his wife and baby being in the hospital took its toll, and his cancer got worse. The mass of cancer in his intestines is the size of an egg and has started to spread, causing a lot of inflammation. Urgent surgery is needed.

He is currently hospitalized in a large city far from home. The doctors are trying to reduce the inflammation in order to perform an expensive emergency surgery that the family cannot afford.
