Aloha! My name is Eugene Kim, I'm from Hawai'i, majoring in Music Education at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, and I recently received a contract to march with the Bluecoats contra line this upcoming 2026 Drum corp season!

This is a huge achievement, and it is an honor to be able to march such a renounced drum corp. With my previous 2 years of DCI experience with the Academy and Phantom Regiment, I've learned so much from this activity, and I am expecting to learn more with the Bluecoats!

This will be my age-out year, which means I am no longer able to march after the 2026 season. While bittersweet, I plan on making the most out of this season with the Bluecoats, and I'm expecting to learn so much more, as a musician, and as a person.

However, tour fees have increased since last year, and as a person from Hawai'i, where it is known to be an expensive place to live, makes this more difficult financially. And with my upcoming semester being loaded with maxxed out credits as a full-time student, and preparing for my junior recital, I ask for all the support I can get for those willing to donate, or sharing this donation page to others to assist me covering the tour fees.

Mahalo to those who donate any amount helps! And of course, please share this with others!
