HELP EUGENE BATTLE ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA
Donation protected

Before diagnosis in early December 2020, Eugene Doherty was a union carpenter, a very active and valued member of the local fire department where he serves as the captain of his company. His commitment to keeping his neighbors and the community safe are unwavering. He often volunteered his time and services to many local community events and charities in the NY tri-state area.
Eugene is now in the fight of his life as he prepares for his upcoming bone marrow and stem cell transplants this spring. He’s already endured two month long treatments for aggressive acute lymphoblastic leukemia missing Christmas, New Year’s and his young daughter’s birthday.
As the road to recovery and long term care is unknown at this time, Eugene will be out of work for a year or more. Of all the things he and his family need to worry about conquering leukemia, how to pay the medical bills and keeping a roof over their heads shouldn't be one of them.
Please consider donating to Eugene’s cancer battle and aid his recovery so he can look forward to spending more time with his loved ones and continue to service and give back to the community. We realize this is a very difficult time for all with heavy financial burdens due to the pandemic, but anything will be greatly appreciated.
