Help Ethan with reconstructive surgeries!

My name is Rebecca, and I’m setting up this GoFundMe for a very special friend of mine, Rachel, who nearly lost her 26 year old son, Ethan, to an accidental shooting in his face. Ethan is her only child, and they are literally best friends. On this very scary day, May 23, 2021, Ethan was at a friends house. His friend took out a 9 mm handgun, and while attempting to clear the weapon, suffered an accidental discharge, hitting him directly in the face. He managed to stay calm and strong, sitting himself up against a wall until medical help arrived. He had to be taken to the hospital via helicopter, and that flight was $100,000 alone. He was in ICU from 5/23/2021 to 5/28/2021, which is also very expensive, and had some emergency surgeries while there. They had to remove his left eye, so he now has a prosthetic. He needs several other reconstructive surgeries on his face, including his jaw and teeth, but the doctors won’t touch him without having money up front. Unfortunately Ethan has no health insurance, and they have used all of his savings on his medical bills, but that was nowhere near enough to cover these expenses. Rachel, who has her own medical things she is dealing with, helps out as much as she can, but she can’t afford much. I am asking for anyone to reach into their hearts and donate what you can, and if you can’t, please just share this everywhere! I wish I could do more, but I can at least do this for them! These are awesome people and really could use some help! These funds will be used for hospital bills, occupational and physical therapy, surgeries, and ongoing medical care related to this accident. I know things are tough, but even if you can only do a couple dollars, it all helps! Your help is greatly appreciated!
