Help Ethan Snyder Attend the DC Trombone Workshop

Hi everyone! My name is Ethan Snyder, and I’m a bass trombonist currently studying at the University of Illinois under Dr. Jonathan Whitaker.

I’m incredibly excited to share that I’ve been accepted into the 2025 DC Trombone Workshop—an intensive weeklong program that brings together trombonists from all across the country. It’s an amazing opportunity to grow as a musician, connect with other players, and learn directly from world-class artists, including legends like Christian Lindberg.

This workshop is a huge step toward my goal of becoming a professional trombonist, and I’m raising funds to help cover the remaining cost of attending. Thanks to a scholarship and a work-study assignment, I’ve already received some financial support—but I still need $905 to fully cover tuition, housing, and meals.
