I have recently been selected as a part of the National England tumbling squad, which has given me the opportunity to attend a training camp in Belgium and to compete for my country in the Loule Cup in Portugal later in the year! This opportunity has already enabled me to train with the other England squad members and coaches.
Since 2012, when i started this journey 11 years ago I've been through the highs, the lows and injuries. It has always been my dream to represent my country in tumbling. I have spent thousands of hours and dedicated my whole life to this sport. Representing your country at a high level is every child's dream and it was once mine. Over the years in tumbling I have competed at the highest level where I have been able to compete at 4 British championships and 3 English championships. Last year I finished 2nd at the English championship at the Sheffield.
Unfortunately, there is currently no funding support within the England tumbling programme, everything is self funded including the UK training camps, some of the squad kit, the Belgium training camp, the Loule Cup competition, other competition fees, physio and many more things. I am hoping that the Gymnastics and the wider community can generously help to support my dreams by donating no matter how big or small I will appreciate it and be grateful for the support in order for me to represent my country internationally.
